Beach Daze

With Kannon’s new obsession with the beach, I have a feeling we will be spending the majority of our free time in the sand. I forgot how much I loved the beach until the past couple of weeks. We are beyond lucky to live in Southern California where we can go to the beach in January. Sorry for all of you who are experiencing a blizzard at the moment, I’m sending warm vibes your way 🙂 On another note, this leopard cardigan was one of the pieces I got on my Forever 21 haul & it has quickly become a go-to in my closet. I wore it to the beach & then dressed it up a bit another day for a girls lunch (stay tuned for that look coming to the blog soon!). Thank goodness that leopard is neutral right? Also, these espadrilles are definitely going to be my favorite Spring/Summer shoes. I own them in black & stripes & they are under $16!!!! If I were you, I would hurry & snag a pair before they are gone because these babies are going to go fast!


Hilarious story real fast… We picked up some burritos before we got to the beach & Kannon & I were down by the water while Adam was eating real fast when we turn around & see Adam running towards us.. With 20 birds attacking him!!! He literally was sprinting around (slipping in the sand :)) trying to get rid of the birds but they were adamant about getting his burrito, so he finally had to just throw his burrito in the sand to get rid of them! It was honestly one of the funniest things I have ever seen & Kannon still laughs about it. He goes up to Adam & says, “Daddy, caw caw” (while flapping his wings) & just cracks up! I wish so badly that we captured the birds attacking him on camera. It will be a story that gets talked about for years.
