After the hustle & bustle of New York Fashion Week, it feels good to be home & back to my everyday life. While I love NYFW & the incredible experience it is, I missed my little family & my day-to-day life. Plus, being back to my full wardrobe after a trip is always the best feeling.
Fashion shows & all of the backstage excitement are so much fun but let’s be honest, we don’t need an actual runway to strut our stuff & show off our style! Every time I get dressed, I try to put together an outfit that is going to make me feel ready to seize the day (that might sound silly but it legitimately makes me want to be productive). Whether I’m taking Kannon to soccer practice or heading to a meeting, I like to feel put together because in turn, that makes me feel confident. I’m hoping I’m not the only one who feels that way!
With all of that said though, it doesn’t mean we have to be rocking high fashion runway attire on the daily to look good. I put this full look together from Kohl’s & I absolutely love it for transitioning into Fall! Each & every piece I’m wearing is versatile & can be worn paired with so many different looks. If you guys have been following my blog, you know that I love Kohl’s because they literally have everything you could ever need (hello, one stop shop!). Plus, I will forever love that Kohl’s is affordable while still maintaining high quality pieces. This look is perfect for day or night depending on which shoes you wear. Throw it on with a cute pair of flats for a day of running around town (I’m dying for these lace up leopard flats) & then switch out your flats for a cute pair of heels for a date night/girl’s night out.
On another note, am I the only one who is beyond excited for Fall trends!? This utility jacket & bold lip combo were just calling my name & I was so happy when I woke up to gloomy weather here in LA!
