Last week I had the opportunity to join some awesome blogger babes for an incredible lunch & tour of Simon G Jewelry hosted by Marie Claire! While events are common, I was completely blown away by the tablescape, copious amounts of delicious food & the entire process that goes into making each piece of jewelry from the family owned business. While on the tour, we were shown the different steps taken to create each piece of jewelry: from weighing each & every diamond, making 3D wax molds of the pieces to ensure the piece is going to be absolutely perfect & then onto melting the metals to create that dream piece. The entire process is incredible!! I honestly had no idea how much went into making a single piece of jewelry & I loved getting to see the process done first hand & meeting the people behind it. I have so much respect for Simon G & everyone behind the business. Each & every person was personable & helpful in explaining the process & business & you can just tell how passionate they all are about the work they create. I had the best time attending this event & it is definitely one for the books. Lets be honest, how stunning were those flowers & decor!? I need everything gold in my house immediately! 🙂
