The Holidays are quickly approaching & I honestly could not be more excited! This is my absolute favorite time of the year for so many reasons. My top two reasons being Holiday dresses & spending time with loved ones. The best part of all is that loved ones & Holiday dresses are usually combined for parties & events!
Onto this look though.. The second I saw this dress from Macy’s I knew I wanted it! No, scratch that. I knew I needed it! Seriously though, if my face were an emoji, it would have 100% been the heart eyes emoji. The beading on this dress is absolutely stunning & it’s even more stunning in real life. I’m looking forward to the first party of the season because I can guarantee you that I’ll be wearing this! Also, a little PSA, it comes in a maxi version as well!
Macy’s has so many beautiful dresses that I’m going to find any & every excuse to purchase a couple more. (I’ve linked a few of my favorites below for you guys!) Not only for the Holidays but for every occasion you could possibly think of. Whether it’s for work or a night out, I guarantee they have something that will make you the star of the show!
As I was scrolling through their site to find this dress, a random memory popped into my head & made me realize that I’ve been shopping at Macy’s for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite memories to date though was definitely the search for my Winter Formal dress my junior year. My dad had a work trip in NYC planned & surprised both my mom & me with tickets to tag along. If I remember correctly, that was my first trip to the Big Apple & to say I was excited would be the understatement of the century!
Since the trip fell right before my Winter Formal, my mom thought it would be the perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone: go shopping in NYC & find the perfect dress. Low & behold, we found ourselves in the iconic Macy’s (the one with all the incredible window displays that you see in movies!) & found the perfect dress together.
That will probably always be one of my favorite memories because it was such a special experience all around. Now, almost 10 years later, I’m still finding myself stopping into Macy’s or scrolling through their site to find dresses for every occasion & I have a feeling that’s never going to change. 🙂
