Family days are my absolute favorite motherhood moments. I’m not just saying that either! Over the past 5+ years that I’ve been a momma, I have found that these days are the most memorable & enjoyable. Sure, they can be a little bit more work because ya know, kids! But the years flash by so quickly & if I’ve learned anything, it’s to enjoy the moments you have with your kids because I swear they’re going to be grown up & moving out of the house before I know it!
With Mother’s Day coming up this weekend, we wanted to do a little outing as a family before we head to Utah for my brothers’ wedding. (If you guys couldn’t tell by now, we love to take every outing & document it with a million photos & videos so that we’ll never forget these moments :)) Since we won’t be home for Mother’s Day this year, we headed to one of our favorite places, the Malibu Pier, to run around & soak up the sun. Although we won’t be home this weekend, I’m beyond excited because I get to celebrate Mother’s Day with my momma this year, (as well as my sisters & grandmas)! We’re going to have a little brunch & I can’t wait to just spend the day with them because it’s not often that we’re all together, let alone to celebrate each other on this special weekend.
On a completely separate topic, I need to give this gingham dress a shout out because I think I might live in it! Holy smokes guys, it’s so comfy & the fit is so cute for every body type (check out Old Navy to see for yourself!). Per usual, Old Navy killed it with pieces for our whole family. Shopping for all of us in one store never gets old & makes life so much simpler. I love the bold prints & colors they came out with for this season. Kannon actually picked out his outfit & it makes my momma heart proud that he has such cute style even at the age of 5. He also chose this sweater & I’m kind of jealous because I want it in my size! Anyways, if you’re celebrating Mother’s Day this weekend & need a cute outfit to wear, go snag this dress & we can be twinning! (PS if your size is sold out online, go to the store & see if they have it, that’s what I did :))
Happy Mother’s Day to all of you incredible Mommas out there! You all make the world a better place!
