I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We spent ours catching up with some close friends & snuggling our little babes. Which in my opinion was the perfect way to spend our weekend 🙂

I will always love neutral colors. My absolute favorite color combination right now is blush & white. These pieces are on constant repeat this Summer & I love a good blush lace dress! Plus, a couple of my favorite pieces are on major sale! My favorite white studded bag is on sale for 40% off AND these lace up flats are on sale for $88. Those are both major steals so get them before they’re sold out!

Let’s talk about jewelry real fast.. This body chain (worn beneath my dress) is by far one of my most favorite jewelry pieces I have ever owned. I am a bit obsessed & am finding every opportunity to wear it. I love that you can dress it up like I did it in the look above OR you can wear it more casual with a cute crop top & shorts. Whichever way you wear it, it’s the perfect statement piece for Summer!

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of a white dress for Spring/Summer. I know I rambled on about white dresses in this post but I honestly just love the classic & clean look! I love that this crochet white dress is perfect for a day out & about AND that you could dress it up a bit by swapping out flats for some strappy wedges. I love pieces that you can transition from day to night just by changing your shoes!

I’m getting so excited to be back in LA so I can be wearing these types of pieces for a day at the beach & in the sun! While I love NYC, you really can’t beat the weather in Southern California. I missed beach days in February! & my skin has become even paler than I thought was possible haha. By the time you read this though, we’ll have just gotten back to LA & I’ll probably be soaking in as much Vitamin D as humanly possible & preparing for baby #2’s arrival! 🙂

In case you missed yesterday’s post, (I finally announced the gender of this little babe in my belly!) this is the look I wore. Dressing for pregnancy can be a bit difficult at times, simply because the bigger your belly gets, the harder it is to find things that fit. I usually try to buy as many pieces as I can that aren’t maternity though, so that I can wear them after my pregnancy as well. That could be why it’s harder for me to find things that fit but you win some & lose some, right?! I’ve found that my favorite tops to wear this far into pregnancy are actually mini dresses or tunics. I always wear bottoms underneath & with the baby bump, it gives the affect of just a longer top! I know, revolutionary style tip I’m sure.. But for those of you who are pregnant & don’t want to purchase a ton of maternity clothes, I thought you might like this option. Plus, this boho style top is one of my absolute favorites & will be on repeat this Spring because I love the pattern & it is beyond comfortable. Oh & these lace up flats? I can’t get enough of them! I love any type of lace up shoe & can’t wait to wear them all Spring/Summer!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend & a Happy Easter!

Classic Black Pants

I have been on the search for the perfect classic black pants for an incredibly long time. Every pair I tried on was either uncomfortable or just didn’t fit correctly. I was beyond happy when I tried on these Sloan pants from Banana Republic because the fit was perfect & they are literally the most comfortable pants I’ve ever worn (they’re on sale too!). They come in quite a few colors but of course I went for classic black. You guys know I’m all about the basics that you can mix & match. Plus, this pregnancy is making my booty & thighs grow along with my belly & I prefer to hide that as much as possible 🙂

I love this red floral blouse paired with the black pants though because it really brightens up the whole look. This floral print is different than any other floral print I’ve owned & I knew it would be a great addition to my Spring/Summer wardrobe. I sized up to a medium since I’m pregnant but the fit of the top is true to size.

If you’re looking for a new pair of pants, I highly recommend these ones. You’ll know what I’m talking about the second you put them on. They’re really are comfy enough to wear to work & then transition for a night out. I wore them to play at the park with Kannon & I felt like I was just wearing a pair of leggings. Comfort is always key when you have a long day at work or running around as a mom & these pants are ideal for those occasions.

I hope you all had a great weekend! We spent our 6 year anniversary hanging out, eating delicious food (including donuts) & binge watching Fuller House 🙂

I loved this white lace up dress the second I saw it. It also helped that it was a total steal at under $30. Plus, you guys know that I love those versatile pieces that can transition from season to season. Now that my baby bump is getting much bigger (I’m 23 1/2 weeks now!), I need clothes that can kind of grow with my bump a bit. I wore this look to an event during fashion week & then wore it again a week later for a doctors appointment. Sometimes you just can’t be bothered to put together a new outfit & I wanted to get some quick photos of this dress for you guys. Real life at its finest 🙂

On another note, I get asked quite a bit on social media if we know the gender of the baby & unfortunately, we still aren’t sure! This little love in my belly was curled up sleeping at our ultrasound last week so all we saw was his/her cute tooshy sticking out haha. At least we know that the baby is growing & is healthy! I promise I’ll let you all know the gender as soon as we find out though. I’m terrible at keeping secrets & can’t wait to start buying some cute baby clothes. I honestly haven’t bought a single thing for this little one yet, so here’s to hoping we find out the gender soon!

Trench Coat

Top 5 Trench Coats

Classic Trench Coat Spring Trench Coat

Building your wardrobe around classic pieces is key if you want your wardrobe to last beyond one season. I’m not really one to try out every “trend” simply because I don’t think that every trend fits every persons style. My theory is, just because something might be currently in style, it doesn’t mean that you should necessarily be wearing it. That’s why I love to have classic pieces to mix & match! In my opinion, a trench coat is a piece that everyone should own. A trench is the perfect transitional coat to take you into Spring. While its light enough to layer, it’s also perfect for warmer climates where you just need a light layer (hello, Southern California!). While it’s still freezing here on the east coast, Spring is just around the corner. So I thought I would do a roundup of my top 5 trench coats for you guys. The ones I’ve selected are from all price ranges & I included a couple different takes on the classic version that I really love. I am currently loving the one I have on in the photos above from Charming Charlie. The black detail around the edges is a fun change from the classic trench & gives it a little something extra. I hope you guys enjoy this little roundup of my favorites. If you want to see more of my favorite pieces, let me know in the comments below. Hope you had a wonderful weekend! 🙂

Happy Monday!!! I absolutely love the color of this sweater. While I tend to stay away from wearing bright pink, I love anything blush pink! I’ve been on the hunt for light sweaters because although I live in LA, the weather tends to cool down at night. This sweater is the perfect Spring/Summer sweater & I love that it comes in 4 different colors. This look was the perfect casual but put together look for a fun event & a family dinner, you’ll definitely be seeing more of this sweater!

PS. Adam & I have become addicted to the show Scandal!!! We normally go to bed by 11ish (we’re parents, don’t judge us ;)) but we’ve been staying up so late watching Scandal on Netflix because it is SO good!! Seriously, if you don’t already, you must start watching it. We’re on Season 2 at the moment so please don’t tell me any spoilers 🙂
