I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We spent ours catching up with some close friends & snuggling our little babes. Which in my opinion was the perfect way to spend our weekend 🙂

I will always love neutral colors. My absolute favorite color combination right now is blush & white. These pieces are on constant repeat this Summer & I love a good blush lace dress! Plus, a couple of my favorite pieces are on major sale! My favorite white studded bag is on sale for 40% off AND these lace up flats are on sale for $88. Those are both major steals so get them before they’re sold out!

Let’s talk about jewelry real fast.. This body chain (worn beneath my dress) is by far one of my most favorite jewelry pieces I have ever owned. I am a bit obsessed & am finding every opportunity to wear it. I love that you can dress it up like I did it in the look above OR you can wear it more casual with a cute crop top & shorts. Whichever way you wear it, it’s the perfect statement piece for Summer!

Happy Cinco de Mayo! Neutrals will forever be my go-to, especially on those days when I “have nothing to wear”! Black jeans, a striped tee & black booties are all staples in my closet. With the addition of a fun leather jacket & a black tassel crossbody bag, you have a classic (but easy to put together) look!

I’ve owned quite a few leather jackets over the years but I especially love the look of this one. It’s the perfect leather jacket for Spring/Summer because it’s not too heavy & you can dress it up or down very easily. It’s definitely one of those pieces you wear over & over again because of how versatile it is. I honestly will never get sick of everyday neutrals because they are the pieces in your closet that you will wear over & over again. I was watching an interview with Emma Watson lately where she was talking about sustainability in fashion & she mentioned that if you can picture yourself wearing a piece at least 30 times, then it is worth purchasing. I loved that because I have so many pieces that I wear continuously & while I might not always purchase sustainable pieces, I do try to keep the majority of my closet full of items I can mix & match for years to come.

I hope you guys are having a great week so far!

At 32 weeks pregnant, I am beyond thankful at the moment for mini dresses. I know that might sound a little strange, but my baby bump has gotten to the size where most normal shirts don’t cover it completely (our little babe is measuring over 3 weeks ahead in size so my bump has expanded rapidly the past weeks). This black and white floral mini dress is on sale & selling out fast but I love the look of it & think it would look so good worn as a dress if you’re more petite. I’m also so happy that I have a pair of white jeans that fit me! I ordered up a size in these from DSTLD so that they would fit better while pregnant & I’m so glad I did because I’m loving them for Spring & Summer. I love the look of white jeans because they give off such a classic & chic vibe even if you’re just wearing basics. I will warn you though, if you have a toddler, be prepared to wash them often or save them for special occasions like date night 🙂

I know I keep saying it but the weather here in NYC just doesn’t feel like Spring yet. I can’t wait for the day that I can wear Spring clothes! Crossing my fingers that happens soon because I have some fun dresses I am dying to wear before my belly gets too big to fit in them:)

I wore this look the other day & if you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that I love mixing staple pieces to create new looks. I love having a wardrobe built around easy to wear pieces because it makes getting dressed on those “I have nothing to wear” days, much easier. This chambray & white denim look is perfect for Spring & if you’re lucky enough to live in warmer weather, just ditch the camel coat. I was so happy to break out these new white jeans from DSTLD! I love a good pair of white jeans & think that they can brighten up any outfit (or a gloomy day in this case). These jeans don’t have a ton of stretch, so if you’re looking to purchase, I would definitely size up. Also, this bag is my absolute favorite & I have been wearing it nonstop. I’m debating getting another color because I love it that much! Which color is your favorite??

Temperatures are still blazing here in LA. While it may be mid October, it feels more like mid June. I swear it normally isn’t even 100 degrees during the Summer! The weather is insane these days & I feel like I am completely missing out on all of the fun Fall activities. We went to the pumpkin patch today & it was blazing. Enough about the weather though! I love the detail on this frayed shirt dress & these lace up heels are just too good. Although after seeing these photos, I wanted to kick myself because I somehow didn’t realize I tied them in the front & I wanted them tied in the back.. Blonde moment? We’ll go with some lame excuse like that 🙂 Honestly though, the slight pointed toe & the laces up the ankles make these heels pure perfection. If you see them a lot over the next few months, I’m sorry that I’m not sorry. Oh & they are under $100 so you better snag a pair of these before they are gone. You can thank me later 🙂

How To Transition Your Wardrobe

How To Transition Your Wardrobe

How To Transition Your Wardrobe How To Transition Your Wardrobe How To Transition Your WardrobeFloral Dress: c/o Yumi KimLeather Jacket: SheInSunglasses(My Favorite!!): c/o DSTLD

Transitioning your wardrobe between seasons can sometimes seem complicated. In fact, sometimes you might feel like you need an entire new wardrobe altogether. I’m here to tell you guys that you don’t 🙂 I’m sure you all knew that though! I honestly love transitioning my wardrobe every season. Of course I buy new clothes, but I love that I can wear my Spring/Summer pieces in a whole new way by layering. I thought I would share my favorite ways to transition your wardrobe for Fall/Autumn so.. Let’s get started!!

1.) Add a jacket/coat – I know that this is the most basic suggestion but adding a jacket can completely change your entire look. The dress I’m wearing in the photos above is bright & the light fabric make it perfect for Summer. Throwing on this leather jacket not only gives it an edgier vibe but makes the whole look warmer & darkens the brightness of the floral dress. Jackets & coats are perfect transition pieces because you can carry them from year to year (I’ve had this leather jacket for 3 years now!).

2.) Add tights – Another basic suggestion but one of my absolute favorite ways to transition my shorter dresses for cooler weather. Do you have a mini dress or skirt that you absolutely love? Don’t shove it to the back of your closet just yet! Throw on a classic pair of black tights or spruce up your look by adding a pair of colored tights. You guys will be seeing a lot of tights when the weather finally cools down here in LA 🙂

3.) Throw on a sweater – Another way to transition dresses for cooler weather is to throw a sweater on over top of the dress. This creates the illusion of a skirt & is perfect for when the weather isn’t too frigid yet. I love to tuck a sweater into a belt around your waist for a fun look!

4.) Wear boots/booties – While I’m the person who wears booties all year round (don’t judge me ;)) Most people save boots & booties for the cooler months. Throwing on a pair of boots instead of a pair of flats or heels ,will not only keep your feet warm but will instantly change your look from Summer to Fall.

5.) Swap brights for neutrals – I’m not saying you can’t wear bright colors during the Fall (cue bright plaid please!) but pairing your bright shades with neutral tones will balance out your look & keep you Fall appropriate.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post I put together on how to transition your wardrobe for the cooler months. Let me know if there are any other posts you would like to see like this! Hope you’re having a wonderful week so far 🙂

I love when I find a good graphic tee. Especially when it has a funny saying & it’s incredibly comfortable. I love to take a classic tee & layer it with other pieces to dress it up. (This black vest is on sale & is the perfect layering piece for Fall!) This ‘Nacho Friend‘ tee was too good to pass up when I saw it in Nordstrom! I obviously want to be friends though.. So don’t take it personally 🙂 Also, these black pants are THE most comfy pants ever. I can’t stop wearing them because they are just that good. I clearly have an addiction to DSTLD Jeans… & no, I’m not sponsored by them. They are just my favorite denim brand & I love how reasonably priced they are for the quality. Just sharing the love with you guys so you can experience how great they are! (As if you couldn’t tell that I love them, they are basically the only jeans I wear..)

On another note, I’m so excited to be back to blogging full time! I have so many fun posts coming up & I can’t wait to share them with you all! Including a trip to NYFW that I can’t wait to share with you guys!! I just want to say thank you for following along over the years & always being so supportive of me & everything I create. If there is anything specific you want to see coming up, let me know! Love you all!

Welcome to the newly designed site!! I am so happy with the clean look & the easy navigation. I hope you guys like the look & feel of it as well! Sorry for the insane lack of posts but my old server wasn’t uploading my photos clear & I just didn’t want to post pixelated photos for you guys.. No one likes to look at those! Enough about the new site though, now for this look- I have had an obsession with vests lately. I have been wearing this black one & this white one repeatedly. I’m sure if you follow me on instagram you’ve seen the white one quite a few times 🙂 I love this cobalt print top paired with this vest because it’s light weight enough for Summer & also comes in a ton of different patterns & colors (oh & it’s only $38!). These pointed loafers are back in stock now so if you had your eye on them before, now is the perfect time to snatch them up because they’re such a steal for under $25! Make sure & subscribe to my blog now because I’m going to start sending out some fun newsletters & you guys won’t want to miss them!! Thanks for following along!

Happy Wednesday! We’ve made it halfway through the week guys. Just a few more days until the weekend. Now for this look.. A couple of the days we were in San Francisco were a bit chilly & overcast. I love a good reason to bust out my trench coat though. I love the idea of a trench coat for Spring because it’s lightweight but still offers enough warmth for those chilly evenings (or insanely windy days). I’m missing SF already.. I love that city so much! I can’t wait to share all of our candid photos from our trip with you guys tomorrow so make sure & stay tuned for those. PS. How amazing is this hairstyle!? My friend Brooke did my hair this day & she’s incredibly talented!!
