This past weekend I had the opportunity to go to Generation Beauty & it was SO much fun!! Friday night I attended the Ipsy party to start the weekend off & I wore this denim & leather look to it. I wanted to wear something that I felt comfortable in but still look a bit dressed up. If you couldn’t tell by now, a denim button up is my go-to choice. I loved the more casual feel of this top paired with this leather skirt & lace up heels because it had the perfect amount of edge & femininity. I can’t wait to film some fun videos with all of the incredible products I got so stay tuned for those!! & if you have any video/post suggestions, let me know in the comments so I can get working on those 🙂

Here is look number two with this leopard cardigan. I am always drawn to black & white because I feel like you just can’t go wrong. I’m still loving this cardigan to just throw over a basic look & I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a fun new sweater that can go with a ton of different outfits. I’m currently in the process of online shopping for some warm clothes for NYC & my mind is numb. I don’t think I’m mentally or physically prepared for the cold weather. I have approximately 9 days to prepare so wish me luck!! 🙂

I have always loved denim. Jeans & a tee shirt is my go-to & probably always will be. I love the simplicity & I love that you can wear denim pieces over & over without them being overused. I used to be anti denim on denim but can’t seem to get enough of the combination these days. These jeans & this denim top are both so comfortable that I can’t seem to get enough of them! & in case you haven’t noticed, these booties are on constant repeat. It might become a problem.

I could not be happier over this whole plaid blanket scarf trend. Honestly, I’m just thrilled over the blanket scarf trend in general but you all know how I feel about a good plaid. If you all aren’t aware, I have had an obsession with cozy blankets since I was a kid. (My mom used to buy me blankets for holidays, no joke.) Moral of the story, I think everyone needs a good blanket scarf to bundle up in the cold weather. I selected some of my favorites for you guys below in case you’re looking for one 🙂 On another note, the necklace & earrings I’m wearing (sorry they aren’t super visible, I’ll post better photos of them soon) are from Purpose Jewelry & I love that the pieces are made by survivors of modern-day slavery & that 100% of proceeds benefit International Sanctuary, a non profit that provides holistic care for young women rescued from sex trafficking. The more I focus on others, the more I find myself forgetting about myself & any struggles I might be having & start realizing how truly blessed I am! 🙂

Last week, I had the opportunity to visit the new Lou & Grey store in Pasadena. Let me tell you guys.. I fell in love! The aesthetic of the store reminded me of modern meets comfort. From the way the clothes were organized to the clothing itself, I kind of just wanted to move in & make the store my closet! A girl can dream, right? 🙂 Everyone working there was super helpful while I was shopping & just really happy all around, which always makes for a good shopping day. 
If you haven’t heard of Lou & Grey before, let me introduce you to your dream come true, especially all of you moms & working ladies! You don’t have to choose between style & comfort because all of their clothes are comfortable enough to lounge around in but chic enough to go out & about in. You all know how I feel about that & I’ll save you a rant about being a mom & chasing a toddler around all day! But seriously, do yourself a favor & if you’re in the Pasadena area, check out the store & if not, there is always online shopping.
