My Spring Makeup Faves

1024 851 Sheridan Gregory

I you like to update your makeup routine with each season, then you’ll love my spring makeup faves that I’m sharing today. Right now, I’m loving fun pops of color, fresh glowing skin and a bold brow. Trying out new beauty products is one of my favorite things to do, and there are some new finds that have made their way into my everyday routine. So, if you’re curious what makeup products I’m currently obsessed with for spring, then keep scrolling!

First off, I recently bought the Kosas brow pencil and tinted brow gel and no exaggeration, they work wonders! I use the shade Taupe in both but they come in a few other shades as well. I’m so obsessed I literally ordered backups just in case! The combo of the two works wonders – lasts all day and I love that the gel doesn’t feel too heavy or like actual glue on my brows (IYKYK)!

I also picked up some fun new eyeshadow, blush and lipstick shades to try out. In the spring, I love pink, coral and lavender hues – how pretty are the shades in this Patrick Ta eyeshadow palette? I also love that ‘lit from within’ glow, especially this time of year, so I want to try out this Iconic London liquid highlighter. I’ve heard amazing things about it! If you’re like me and love a cream blush, then you have to try the Rose Inc ones. The colors are so pretty for spring and they last all day!

While I love a matte lip, this Tarte juicy lip plump looks incredible! Is there anything better than a glossy lip this time of year? It comes in a bunch of different shades – I honestly want to try them all! I’m linking all my current faves down below for you, but I’d love to know what beauty products you’re loving lately – let me know what I should try next!

5 Affordable Must Try Lip Products

683 1024 Sheridan Gregory

I have been so impressed by affordable makeup brands lately. When I say that these affordable lip products are incredible, I am not exaggerating one bit – they are some of the best lip product formulas I have ever used!

I’m sharing the shades that I wear the most below but if they aren’t your jam, check out the other shades in the range because you won’t be disappointed! So without further ado, here are the best affordable lip products.

Maybelline Lifter Gloss

This gloss is a new release as of late 2020 & have loved this formula since the first wear. I wear the shade ‘Sand’ most often but you can’t go wrong with any of the shades. They have a pretty great color pay off for a gloss but are also great to layer.

L’Oreal Lightweight Matte Lip Stain

This particular one has almost 5 stars with over 19k reviews! I typically don’t love matte lip formulas because I have dry lips but this formula has been a holy grail of mine for years now. I recommend this to everyone I know because it stays put, doesn’t dry out my lips & it’s beautiful. I wear the shade ‘I Lead’ or ‘I Tease’ most often.

CoverGirl Tinted Lip Oil

This is a sheer lip oil but I fell in love with this formula when the Clean Fresh line was released. It’s hydrating with a sheer color & my favorite during the summer months. I wear the shades ‘Sour Grapes’ & ‘Fresh Squeezed’.

Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink

This is another matte formula that I shockingly LOVE. The formula doesn’t dry out my lips & the wear is wonderful – it lasts for hours & hours! I wear “Hazelnut Hypnotizer’ most often now but I have used so many different shades from this line over the past few years.

L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine

If you’ve been a longtime follower, you have most likely seen me talk about this formula for well over 5 years. I can’t get enough of this glossy formula! My holy grail shade is ‘Glossy Fawn’ but once again, if you love a lipstick with a slight sheen, this formula is for you!

Cranberry Holiday Makeup Tutorial

I can’t believe that Christmas is in one week from today! Where has this month gone!? I’m literally baffled that time has gone by so quickly the past couple of months. I adore this time of year & love all of the fun makeup looks that come along with it. Although let’s be honest, I would wear this makeup look all year round for a night out! Cranberry shades have been my go-to the past couple of months & I can’t seem to break away from them. So, I figured I would film this cranberry holiday makeup tutorial for any of you looking for some holiday makeup inspiration! While this ABH Mario palette is sold out, I highly recommend this Tarte palette because it has nearly identical shades that I used & I have been using it on the daily. It’s the perfect palette for all year round.

What is your go-to holiday makeup product? Let me know in the comments below!

Spring Blush

5 Must Have Spring Blushes

683 1024 Sheridan Gregory

Top Spring Blush Milani LuminosoHappy Saturday!

While it’s officially been Spring for a little while now, the weather hasn’t quite realized there’s been a change of season. Since I can’t break out my warm weather clothing just yet (it’s been freezing & cold here in NYC), I’ve decided that transitioning my makeup is the next best thing! I love Spring makeup because it gives us all the perfect opportunity to bring out those peach/pink shades. I also love a good blush! The perfect shade can completely change your look & give you a beautiful bit of color to your look. Since I’m always on the hunt for good beauty products, I thought I would share my 5 must have Spring blushes! Let’s jump into it..

1. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
This blush is a very popular shade & until this year, I had never tried it out. The formula is amazing! It gives you that perfect peach glow. The Milani blushes are super pigmented, so a little goes a long way!

2. Too Faced Love Flush in Love Hangover
Another great option is this shade from Too Faced. If you love the peach look but aren’t a massive fan of overly “glowy” skin, this is the perfect matte option.

3. Clinique Cheek Pop in Nude Pop
This is the first blush I’ve tried from Clinique & I’m obsessed! I had my eye on this nude shade for a very long time & when I finally bought it, I was not disappointed. This gives you the perfect natural sheen to your cheeks & is so perfect if you don’t love a pop of color!

4. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Fearless
Tarte blushes have a massive hype around them & once you try one, you’ll realize why. The formula is pigmented, they blend incredibly & they come in a variety of shades. This pink is one of my absolute favorites!

5. Milani Baked Blush in Berry Amore
I know, another Milani blush.. I can’t get enough of this formula though! This is my go-to blush for my everyday makeup because it gives me the perfect glowy flush. Plus, these blushes are very reasonably priced, so if you haven’t tried them yet, I highly suggest you pick one up!

Now it’s your turn, what is your favorite blush for Spring!? Have you tried any of my favorites?

DVF Runway Tutorial

DVF NYFW Tutorial

683 1024 Sheridan Gregory

If you’ve been following my blog lately, you know that I got super sick the night before I was supposed to fly to NYFW & had to cancel my trip… Although I was bummed about missing it, I was so happy that I could follow along online. (Thank goodness for the Internet!!) My favorite makeup look was definitely the colorful eye at the DVF show! It was such a fun look & the pop of color really complemented the collection. I knew I wanted to re-create at least one look from the runway & the second I saw the bright eye from DVF, I knew that was the one I wanted to emulate. I love how easy this look is to create & love that it would also be perfect for a holiday look as well (just add some eye liner!). I hope you guys enjoy!!

For the face, I used my current go-to products from Walgreens that I used in this past tutorial. I focused on bronzed cheeks to re-create that golden skin from the DVF runway & the No7 Perfectly Bronzed Mosaic Bronzer worked perfectly!

DVF Runway TutorialOnce the face was completed, I went in with my Circa Color Saturated Eye Crayon to get a nice base for the colorful eye. I love this eye crayon because it’s easy to apply & it helps keep my eye shadow in place all day long.

DVF Runway TutorialNext up is the Colour Prevails Eye Shimmer Powder in the shade Emerald. This shadow is THE perfect product to re-create the DVF look! I love that this product is super buildable because you can wear it as a light shade or a super bright shade. I applied this all over my lid, the inner corner of my eye & the lower lash line with the small brush it comes with & then used a fluffy blending brush to blend out the edges so that I didn’t have any harsh lines. I then went in with the lightest shade in the Mosaic Bronzer to give some depth to the crease.

DVF Runway TutorialLast but most definitely not least, mascara! I still love this No7 Lash Impact Mascara because it not only lengthens my lashes but it also gives them a nice amount of volume. Which is always a win in my book & no look is complete without a good mascara.

DVF Runway TutorialI hope that you guys enjoy this fun look as much as I do. It’s always fun to mix things up a bit & try a pop of color!
