BioRepublic Sheet Mask Review

Sheet Mask Review

1024 683 Sheridan Gregory

Dr.Jart+ Sheet Mask Review BioRepublic Sheet Mask ReviewKorean skincare is everywhere these days & I absolutely love how accessible it is becoming! Sheet masks are some of my favorite things to pamper myself with during my at-home spa nights so I put together a little sheet mask review of the ones I’ve been using lately. Let’s just jump right in!!

-BioRepublic Cucumber Breeze-

A soothing mask that smells fresh from the natural cucumber extract & helped soothe my red skin after a charcoal mask. I like that this mask has Vitamin E in it & that it’s paraben free!

-Leaders Insolution Collagen Boosting-

These are the sheet masks I use the most! My good friend Angela introduced me to these last year & I love the way they make my skin feel. Although I’m only 25, I can tell that my skin is starting to age & these help to make my skin feel & look more plump. AKA helping my fine lines look less apparent!

-BioRepublic Lost Baggage Eye Masks-

My undereye area is prone to being dry & because of that, tends to look more wrinkled than the rest of my face. I love these because they pack a ton of moisture, which helps my concealer go on smoother. Another plus is that they help with undereye bags, helping you look more awake, even when you haven’t had the best nights sleep!

-Dr. Jart+ All That Contours-

This mask is supposed to help lift skin & improve elasticity. I’m going to be completely honest, I didn’t like this sheet mask at all. After removing it, my skin didn’t feel hydrated at all & just felt really sticky. I personally won’t be purchasing again because I like other Dr. Jart masks a lot better!

-Dr. Jart+ Pore Master Patch-

This is a two step system that is designed to help remove those pesky nose blackheads. While these didn’t remove all of my blackheads (I honestly haven’t found anything that truly removes them all), it did help to get rid of the majority of mine!

-BioRepublic No More Years-

I love that this mask has hyaluronic acid in it! This one helps with the appearance of fine lines & also hydrates your skin. I would definitely suggest giving these ones a try!

-Dr. Jart+ Pore Minimalist-

I absolutely LOVE charcoal masks! This is the first charcoal sheet mask I’ve ever tried & I really liked the results. Charcoal helps clean out your pores & help with blemishes. I honestly do a charcoal mask at least 1-2 times a week & really notice a difference in my skin.

-BioRepublic Green Tea Detox-

This mask is great for a basic cleaning of pores & for a boost of hydration. While these types of masks might seem more “basic” than the others, I love to use these on the regular. They leave your skin feeling clean, soft & incredibly hydrated!

-Dr. Jart+ Brightening Infusion-

One of my biggest issues with my skin is that it can look very dull at times. While this mask isn’t a miracle worker (it doesn’t get rid of my dark spots or make any drastic improvements), it definitely makes your skin feel hydrated & look more awake. I will say though that I don’t like how it comes in 2 pieces. This is one of those masks where you need to lay down in order for it to stay put.

There are so many sheet masks on the market these days! These are just the ones I’ve been trying out recently. Do you have a favorite sheet mask that I should try!?

Becca Blush Becca luminous blush Becca Luminous Blush SwatchSwatches L to R – Foxglove – Dahlia – Blushed Copper – Camellia – Tigerlily – Snapdragon

I am a massive fan of the beauty brand, Becca Cosmetics. I absolutely love their highlighters & use them constantly! To say I was excited when I received the full collection of their new Shimmering Skin Perfector Luminous Blushes is an understatement. You guys know I absolutely love a luminous makeup look & I was dying to get my hands on these. The second I opened them, I couldn’t wait to test them out! All of the Becca products I have tried are incredibly pigmented & the formula is so finely milled that it is almost buttery in texture & blends out like a dream. Let me tell you, these luminous blushes are definitely on brand & as you can see in the photos, they are absolutely beautiful! I also love that they covered every shade category, from pink to bronze to tangerine, there is a shade for every skin tone. I also love that you can wear these alone or swipe a light layer over another blush to transform the look. (Be forewarned that these are highly pigmented & a little bit goes a loooong way!) I can’t get enough of these & can’t wait to wear them all Summer long!

Have you guys tried these out yet? Which is your favorite color?!

Spring Blush

5 Must Have Spring Blushes

683 1024 Sheridan Gregory

Top Spring Blush Milani LuminosoHappy Saturday!

While it’s officially been Spring for a little while now, the weather hasn’t quite realized there’s been a change of season. Since I can’t break out my warm weather clothing just yet (it’s been freezing & cold here in NYC), I’ve decided that transitioning my makeup is the next best thing! I love Spring makeup because it gives us all the perfect opportunity to bring out those peach/pink shades. I also love a good blush! The perfect shade can completely change your look & give you a beautiful bit of color to your look. Since I’m always on the hunt for good beauty products, I thought I would share my 5 must have Spring blushes! Let’s jump into it..

1. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
This blush is a very popular shade & until this year, I had never tried it out. The formula is amazing! It gives you that perfect peach glow. The Milani blushes are super pigmented, so a little goes a long way!

2. Too Faced Love Flush in Love Hangover
Another great option is this shade from Too Faced. If you love the peach look but aren’t a massive fan of overly “glowy” skin, this is the perfect matte option.

3. Clinique Cheek Pop in Nude Pop
This is the first blush I’ve tried from Clinique & I’m obsessed! I had my eye on this nude shade for a very long time & when I finally bought it, I was not disappointed. This gives you the perfect natural sheen to your cheeks & is so perfect if you don’t love a pop of color!

4. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Fearless
Tarte blushes have a massive hype around them & once you try one, you’ll realize why. The formula is pigmented, they blend incredibly & they come in a variety of shades. This pink is one of my absolute favorites!

5. Milani Baked Blush in Berry Amore
I know, another Milani blush.. I can’t get enough of this formula though! This is my go-to blush for my everyday makeup because it gives me the perfect glowy flush. Plus, these blushes are very reasonably priced, so if you haven’t tried them yet, I highly suggest you pick one up!

Now it’s your turn, what is your favorite blush for Spring!? Have you tried any of my favorites?

Perfume Collection

Perfume Collection

1024 683 Sheridan Gregory

Perfume Collection Perfume CollectionI’ve been asked on quite a few occasions to do a post on my perfume collection. I always held back due to the fact that I haven’t bought a new perfume in ages & I felt like I wouldn’t be sharing anything new with you all. I’ve gotten over that though & thought it would be fun to share my favorites with you guys! (& two perfumes that I’ll be purchasing next ) Well, let’s get on with it then 🙂

Vera Wang ‘Princess’ – Yes, I’m well aware that this perfume is labeled for teenage girls. To be honest, I fell in love with this perfume when I was a teenager myself & I just can’t seem to quit it. This scent is sweet & enchanting. The name really does suit it because it’s the type of perfume you would expect a princess to wear.

Viktor & Rolf ‘Flowerbomb’ – I first discovered this perfume in NYC with my momma. We were strolling through a department store & a few women were handing out samples of the new fragrances. This scent honestly reminds me of my mom & while I love the scent, I love that it reminds me of her (Flowerbomb & Eternity are her two signature perfumes!) I honestly don’t usually love floral scents but this one is incredible. I love that they describe it as living in  your own secret garden because it’s the perfect mixture of Jasmine, Rose, Orchid, Freesia & Patchouli.

Marc Jacobs ‘Daisy’ – I received this perfume when I first moved to LA! While that doesn’t seem too long ago, it also feels like it was another lifetime. Weird how that happens with time, right?! This perfume actually took some time to grow on me. The first time I smelled it, I wasn’t a massive fan. I of course gave it another shot & slowly but surely, I grew to love it! This scent is floral & feminine with a touch of musk & vanilla.

Marc Jacobs ‘Daisy Eau So Fresh’ – A new take on the classic Daisy perfume & while sequels can often times be a bit blah, they did not go wrong when they created this one. I absolutely love how playful this fragrance is! This version is a bit more fruity & in my opinion, a bit more fun. I love to wear this scent when I’m feeling a bit spunky haha. Do you guys ever match your perfume to the way you’re feeling or the way you want to feel that day?!

Chanel ‘COCO Mademoiselle’ – This scent is actually very new to me. I had worn Chanel Chance previously but had never tried this until I was gifted a bottle of it. I love all things Chanel but then again, who doesn’t? I love that this scent has a slight citrus scent to it. This is the Eau De Toilette version so I believe it’s a bit lighter.

Writing this post got me thinking back to the first perfume I was ever given! It was called White Shoulders & my grandma used to wear it (maybe she still does) & it was my moms first perfume as well! It’s a very musky scent & I thought I was so grown up that I could wear a real perfume. I cherished that bottle like it was pure gold! Oh the memories 🙂 What was your first perfume?!

Now for two perfumes that I will be adding to my collection next! Drum roll please……Fresh ‘Sugar Lychee’ – I loooove this scent! It’s a sweet scent so if you don’t enjoy those, stay clear of this one. I love the mixture of the fruity sweet scent & the amber. Such a good one!

Elizabeth and James ‘Nirvana Black’ – This is a scent that I have gone back & forth on for a few months now. Adam isn’t a massive fan of this scent some days & then other days he enjoys it. I had a sample of this that I brought on our road trip this Summer though & I fell in love with it. Funny how a scent grows on you like that! I think this scent will be perfect for Fall & Winter as well!

Well, that’s my perfume roundup for you guys!! I hope you enjoyed & I would love for you guys to share your favorite perfume with me in the comments 🙂

Everyday Gold Eye Tutorial

Everyday Gold Eye Tutorial

I’ve been lucky enough to receive some incredible beauty products to try out lately & I was beyond thrilled when I received the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette! The UD Naked palettes have become cult products in the beauty industry & every time a new one comes out, people go crazy for it. I honestly love this palette because you can create a bold smoky eye (obviously!) but for all of you who are skeptical because you don’t wear smoky eyes that often, you can create some pretty awesome everyday looks as well. There are both matte & shimmer shades in this palette, as well as cool tones & warm tones. The shades are nice & pigmented so you get a good payoff color wise. Overall, I think this palette is a complete win & the packaging is by far my favorite out of all of the Naked Palettes! If you’re curious about it, I would highly recommend trying it out for yourself 🙂

I know there are about a million tutorials using this new palette out there already. So, why not add another to the mix? Right!? I’m secretly hoping you guys agreed with me on that one 🙂 I know this palette is made to be used for smoky eye looks but I wanted to show you guys how versatile it is & use it for a fun everyday look. I’ve started using a few other new products & I just want to share the products I’m loving with you guys through these Get Ready With Me (GRWM) videos. I would love it if you guys subscribed to my channel to see more & if there is ever anything specific you guys want to see, make sure & let me know! Thank you all for the support & love over the past couple years. I love sharing my life with you guys & making new friends around the world! I hope you enjoy this everyday gold eye tutorial!

Makeup For Photo Shoots

Makeup for Photo Shoots

1024 576 Sheridan Gregory

With being a blogger comes a lot of photos & videos. With a lot of photos & videos comes a lot of makeup. With a lot of makeup comes a lot of tips & tricks learned over the years. Moral of the story? I have now become a beauty junky & I am constantly on the search for new products & methods to create the perfect makeup look. I’m definitely not a beauty guru but I’ve come a long way 🙂

I have been asked on quite a few occasions for tutorials on how I do my makeup in certain blog posts. I’ve been trying to film more Get Ready With Me (GRWM) videos so that you guys can see what products I’m using for each look & how I’m applying the makeup. (SO if you aren’t subscribed to my YouTube channel yet, head on over & subscribe now!) I got asked on Instagram last week if I would film a video on how I do my makeup for photo shoots & I immediately accepted because I thought it was a great idea for a video. Back in the day, I didn’t wear much makeup & honestly up until the past couple of years, I was still trying to figure out how to do my makeup. After years of modeling, you would have thought I had it figured out but it took a lot of experimenting with different products to finally learn how to do it in a way that made me feel comfortable & confident.

If you have any other video suggestions that you guys would like to see, feel free to leave them in the comments below or comment on an Instagram photo. I love hearing from you guys & I especially love creating content that you guys really want to see. I’m constantly trying to come up with new ideas & looks to make this space a creative outlet for not only myself but for you guys as well. I hope you guys enjoy the video!
