If it wasn’t obvious already, I have a thing for lace up details. Whether it’s lace up dresses, sweaters or shoes, I can’t get enough of them! I realize my last post featured a lace up dress & now I’m featuring a lace up sweater, but you win some & lose some. In all reality though, this is just a win-win situation because both the dress & the sweater are perfect pieces for Spring! Plus, while this lace up sweater sold out really fast, I found an identical one & it’s on sale for $25! You guys know I love a good deal & I had to share that one with you!

This week has been incredibly busy so far & I’m really looking forward to a relaxing weekend. While I haven’t been walking as much, we’ve been exploring the city & shooting some fun content that I can’t wait to share with you guys very soon! I can’t believe baby boy #2 will be here in 2 months or less! I honestly haven’t even started preparing or buying things.. Adam says I’ve hit my nesting stage though since I’m getting so antsy about getting everything ready for his arrival. I guess it’s time for me to start getting everything ready! Do you guys have any fun plans for the weekend? Am I the only one looking forward to two full days of relaxing!?

I think the weather was tired of me complaining about it so it decided to feel like Spring finally! While it’s not quite what I would consider “warm”, it’s been in the 6o’s & it’s supposed to get up to 70 this weekend. You guys know that I’m taking complete advantage of the warmer temps & dressing the part. Please excuse my pale skin! I usually am pretty pale in general, but these past few months in NYC have taken my skin color to a whole new shade of being pale. I should probably think about using some self tanner but let’s be honest, my legs would be splotchy messes trying to apply it around my expanding baby bump 🙂

It’s festival season on the west coast & with the first weekend of Coachella happening, I wanted to feel like I was experiencing all the fun with this floral & fringe look. I love a good floral print & I thought this emerald green dress was a fun take on the classic floral. This suede jacket is perfect to throw over dresses or even jeans or denim shorts for Spring/Summer. While this exact one sold out pretty quickly, I found a very similar one for you guys looking for a fun fringe jacket. Sorry for the repeat of these booties but I am practically obsessed with them & wear them almost everyday. They’re the perfect neutral bootie for all seasons & I sincerely think that everyone should own a pair. (PS. they come in black leather as well)

My parents have been in town this week & we have been soaking up every minute we can with them. The one thing I miss the most about the west coast, is my family. There really isn’t anything better than family & a move across the country brings that even more into perspective. I’m so thankful that we have been able to spend time with them this week. Kannon is literally the happiest kid when he is with them & I love seeing them get to play together again! Hope you all are having a great weekend!

In case you missed yesterday’s post, (I finally announced the gender of this little babe in my belly!) this is the look I wore. Dressing for pregnancy can be a bit difficult at times, simply because the bigger your belly gets, the harder it is to find things that fit. I usually try to buy as many pieces as I can that aren’t maternity though, so that I can wear them after my pregnancy as well. That could be why it’s harder for me to find things that fit but you win some & lose some, right?! I’ve found that my favorite tops to wear this far into pregnancy are actually mini dresses or tunics. I always wear bottoms underneath & with the baby bump, it gives the affect of just a longer top! I know, revolutionary style tip I’m sure.. But for those of you who are pregnant & don’t want to purchase a ton of maternity clothes, I thought you might like this option. Plus, this boho style top is one of my absolute favorites & will be on repeat this Spring because I love the pattern & it is beyond comfortable. Oh & these lace up flats? I can’t get enough of them! I love any type of lace up shoe & can’t wait to wear them all Spring/Summer!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend & a Happy Easter!
