6 Target Style Finds I Love

683 1024 Sheridan Gregory

Over the past couple of years, Target has really stepped up their game when it comes to clothes & shoes. I have made quite a few purchases lately (as well as a few returns) so I wanted to put together a quick little post with the pieces that I kept & am loving.

Seriously though, the price of these pieces is incredible (hello, Free People jacket dupe) & the quality is really actually amazing. If you’re in the market for some new pieces, I 100% recommend the pieces below, they’re high quality, affordable & so cute. Click on each image for a link!

I have this jacket in both green & pink. I have debated purchasing in every color but I’m refraining from having too much excess in my wardrobe. I sized up one size for a more relaxed fit but otherwise it fits true to size (TTS).

I genuinely can’t believe that this shearling collar jacket is only $35! The quality is incredible & I absolutely love this style.

All 3 of these boots fit TTS in my opinion + they look really high quality. I do not like when affordable “suede” boots show up on your doorstep looking poorly made. None of these have that fake suede look, thank goodness!

Have you found a Target Style find that you love lately? Let me know in the comments below so I can check it out!

5 Areas To Organize for Instant Peace

1024 683 Sheridan Gregory

If you follow me on Instastories, you may have noticed me talking about getting organized lately. With the start of a new season, it just feels natural to declutter and reorganize our space. We were in full on declutter mode in January as well, and every time we do this, it amazes me at how much stuff accumulates. Basically, every corner of our apartment was filled up! The end result is beyond peaceful though.

how to organize Top: Target x Who What Wear (sold out) – Necklace: c/o Morning Lavenderwho what wear target

Going through the entire home can be overwhelming, but I personally like to just get it done. Pick a weekend that you’re free, stay in your pajamas, blast the music, and get to work. Here are 5 areas to focus on:

1.) Closets – Obviously! Go through each item and decide if you want to keep it. If you haven’t fit into it (I’m totally guilty of this) or worn it in the last year, donate it. If it’s just a mess, toss it. Either way, pull out each item in your closet and reorganize it. Throw away broken hangers and make sure your shoes have a dedicated place to live.

2.) Dresser – Another obvious one, but totally necessary. Get rid of old or mismatched socks, underwear, and even bras that are worn out. I like to make note of what I need (so if I’m getting rid of my black bra, I know I need to order a new one). This is when I’ll donate old pajamas or workout gear and keep my list of what to buy as I can afford things.

3.) Pantry – This is always a bit depressing because you realize how much food has been wasted (hello old pasta!), but go through everything in your pantry and check dates. If something is expiring soon but you won’t use it, bring it to a food shelter and let them know the urgency. Don’t forget to check spices and replace what you’ve gotten rid of.

4.) Toy baskets – This is obviously only if you have little ones in your life, and if the kids are old enough, let them help you with this process. It might cause conflict and some tears, but teaching kids about donating and decluttering is important—at least I think so! I go through and clean up all the toys too; a little vinegar is a natural way to get rid of germs on legos, books, all the toys.

5.) Car – Oh my gosh, our cars get sooo messy, anyone else?! It’s such a forgotten space, but with 2 kids and 2 adults, our vehicles take a beating. Go through each corner and compartment and toss any trash, old napkins, etc. After doing this, I take the cars to get detailed, then I’ll add in a bag or bin to keep in the car for trash and random things we need to get rid of. I’ll usually keep a backpack full of emergency things: napkins, snacks, water, etc., too. There is just something magical about a totally clean, organized car—am I right?

Other areas you can organize: linen closets, bathroom + medicine cabinets (get rid of old meds), fridge (a good wipe down is usually needed), & under the bed. If dedicating a weekend is too much, commit to 30 minutes at the end of each day for a week, and you should make good progress.

I hope this helps your organization AND peace of mind 🙂

Target Date

Our Weekly Target Date

1024 683 Sheridan Gregory

I’m not even going to pretend that we don’t frequent Target at least once a week. With two kids, there is always something we need (or want) & to be honest, it’s always an adventure for us!

Even though we always leave with more than we planned on purchasing (anyone else!?), Target is our go-to for all of our everyday essentials. Baby formula & laundry detergent being our most frequent purchases because we go through these insanely quick. I think that anyone that has raised a baby or child, can testify to the glorious amounts of laundry that happen on the weekly (daily?) basis. With 4 of us now, the amount of laundry we go through is almost mind blowing. Which is why we did a happy dance when we found out that our favorite laundry detergent, Persil ProClean, is now sold in Target nationwide!!

Honestly, you can’t beat Persil. We were introduced to it a couple years ago & fell in love with how well it worked and the amazing scent. Since I’m surrounded by boys, it’s necessary to have a laundry detergent that smells lovely, gets stains out AND is gentle on our clothes. Persil ProClean does all of that & now that it’s at Target nationwide, we don’t have to worry about finding it, we can just add it to our list of Target must-haves & we’re good to go! If you couldn’t tell by now.. It’s the little things in life that make me happy!

I hope you enjoy the video! Leave a comment below if you are as addicted to Target as we are 🙂

*Thanks to Persil ProClean for sponsoring this post. Per usual, all opinions are my own 🙂

Spring Blush

5 Must Have Spring Blushes

683 1024 Sheridan Gregory

Top Spring Blush Milani LuminosoHappy Saturday!

While it’s officially been Spring for a little while now, the weather hasn’t quite realized there’s been a change of season. Since I can’t break out my warm weather clothing just yet (it’s been freezing & cold here in NYC), I’ve decided that transitioning my makeup is the next best thing! I love Spring makeup because it gives us all the perfect opportunity to bring out those peach/pink shades. I also love a good blush! The perfect shade can completely change your look & give you a beautiful bit of color to your look. Since I’m always on the hunt for good beauty products, I thought I would share my 5 must have Spring blushes! Let’s jump into it..

1. Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso
This blush is a very popular shade & until this year, I had never tried it out. The formula is amazing! It gives you that perfect peach glow. The Milani blushes are super pigmented, so a little goes a long way!

2. Too Faced Love Flush in Love Hangover
Another great option is this shade from Too Faced. If you love the peach look but aren’t a massive fan of overly “glowy” skin, this is the perfect matte option.

3. Clinique Cheek Pop in Nude Pop
This is the first blush I’ve tried from Clinique & I’m obsessed! I had my eye on this nude shade for a very long time & when I finally bought it, I was not disappointed. This gives you the perfect natural sheen to your cheeks & is so perfect if you don’t love a pop of color!

4. Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Fearless
Tarte blushes have a massive hype around them & once you try one, you’ll realize why. The formula is pigmented, they blend incredibly & they come in a variety of shades. This pink is one of my absolute favorites!

5. Milani Baked Blush in Berry Amore
I know, another Milani blush.. I can’t get enough of this formula though! This is my go-to blush for my everyday makeup because it gives me the perfect glowy flush. Plus, these blushes are very reasonably priced, so if you haven’t tried them yet, I highly suggest you pick one up!

Now it’s your turn, what is your favorite blush for Spring!? Have you tried any of my favorites?

White Lace Up Dress

White Lace Up Dress: Forever 21Army Green Jacket: Forever 21Fleece Lined Tights: Target (In Store) – Black & White Shoes: Banana RepublicCrystal Ear Climbers: c/o BaubleBar

I loved this white lace up dress the second I saw it. It also helped that it was a total steal at under $30. Plus, you guys know that I love those versatile pieces that can transition from season to season. Now that my baby bump is getting much bigger (I’m 23 1/2 weeks now!), I need clothes that can kind of grow with my bump a bit. I wore this look to an event during fashion week & then wore it again a week later for a doctors appointment. Sometimes you just can’t be bothered to put together a new outfit & I wanted to get some quick photos of this dress for you guys. Real life at its finest 🙂

On another note, I get asked quite a bit on social media if we know the gender of the baby & unfortunately, we still aren’t sure! This little love in my belly was curled up sleeping at our ultrasound last week so all we saw was his/her cute tooshy sticking out haha. At least we know that the baby is growing & is healthy! I promise I’ll let you all know the gender as soon as we find out though. I’m terrible at keeping secrets & can’t wait to start buying some cute baby clothes. I honestly haven’t bought a single thing for this little one yet, so here’s to hoping we find out the gender soon!

Let me just get it out there that it was freeeeezing the day we took these photos. Running around for events for fashion week was brutal! I’m obviously still not used to this cold weather 🙂 For all the ladies rocking dresses without tights, I bow down to you! There is no way that I could go out without layers upon layers. I love this black neck tie dress for this reason. You can layer it up with tights & a coat but it’s also perfect to transition into Spring with some lace up heels. If you missed my last post, you can check it out HERE. I talked all about having key pieces in your wardrobe to transition from season to season. Now, here’s to hoping that it’s warm enough to actually walk around tomorrow without freezing!

Pink Pleated Midi Skirt

I have this thing for midi skirts. I honestly can’t seem to get enough of them (my closet is full of them) & I don’t see myself getting over them anytime soon. There is just something about the longer length that makes them so classic. Every time I put one on, I feel as if I’m instantly transported to another time period. Am I the only one who feels this way!? I seriously hope not but am mentally preparing myself just in case. If you haven’t jumped on the midi skirt bandwagon yet, check out ASOS, that’s where I buy the majority of mine & I love that they are so reasonably priced. Plus, they have this pink pleated midi skirt in multiple colors & it’s only $55.

Sorry for the long lapse in posting!! Ugh so many technical difficulties guys. You know those weeks when it seems like absolutely nothing goes the way you planned on it going? It was definitely one of those weeks for me. I think those times are just the universe reminding you to focus on the little things & not sweat the big things as much. Even though it’s the most frustrating thing in the world, I try to take that time to refocus & come back with a vengeance! I do have some fun posts coming for you guys though so stay tuned for those 🙂

I wore this look to an incredible dinner with Sole Society & Style Saint for their fun collaboration. I’m not even exaggerating when I say this dinner was incredible either. We’re talking like 8 courses & some of the best food I’ve ever eaten! If you’re ever in the Los Angeles area, make sure & check out Republique. Both their dinner & brunch is insanely delicious. Oh & they have some amazing pastries as well so you basically have ever meal & food group covered.

Short Sleeve Chambray

My obsession with denim/chambray clearly continues. After seeing a friend of mine in a very similar short sleeve chambray top, I went on a hunt for something similar but at a more reasonable price point. I almost died when I found this short sleeve chambray top on ASOS, it was exactly what I had been looking for! Since the weather has officially warmed up, I was in desperate need of a replacement for my long sleeve chambray button ups. Since a chambray top can be dressed up or dressed down & can be paired with just about everything, it’s a necessary wardrobe essential.

On another note, I wore this look to a ColourPop event a few days ago & if you watch my YouTube channel, you guys know how much I love ColourPop. The best part about the event? They are releasing a new line of matte liquid lipsticks & I am obsessed with them already! There are 25 shades being released – from bold, bright colors to neutral nudes, I can’t wait to show you guys them. Let me know if you want to see a post with swatches from all of the colors because I’m thinking that might be fun to see how they all look in real life. Enough rambling though 🙂 Hope you guys had a wonderful weekend! Let’s make this week a great one!

I know, I know. You’re probably thinking.. “More photos from their trip!?”. But I just had so many cute ones that I couldn’t resist posting! I promise there will probably be only one more post with trip photos 🙂 Hope you’re not too annoyed! I do have some fun Summer outfits coming up though & some videos too, so stay tuned for those!! The photos above were taken in San Francisco at Golden Gate Park. That park is a dreeeeam! I swear we could have spent our whole trip there & not seen it all. It’s literally HUGE! & perfect for our fam since we love to be outdoors & exploring (especially Kannon). If you are planning a trip to SF definitely go cause you won’t be disappointed! A little side story from this day, we had parked & were waiting for Kannon to wake up from his nap when we heard a loud boom & felt our car shake.. Some old woman had driven by & hit our mirror! Best part of the story? She didn’t even stop! We literally had to chase her down & her response was “So? Is there damage?” Haha so ridiculous. We were dying at how grumpy she was when she was the one who hit us. No one was hurt though & our car just had some scratches. So all in all, no big deal. But if you hit someone’s car, please at least stop & make sure everything is alright!! 😉
