Let’s just get right into it.. These booties guys!!! I have had my eye on these for so long & when I found them on sale, I literally couldn’t resist. You guys know that I don’t normally purchase very expensive things.. I think these booties & my Chanel bag are the only two high end accessories in my closet but man were they both worth the splurge! On another note, I have been wearing this bag daily since I got it & I’m so happy that it goes well with my booties because I think they will both be on repeat for a long time.
We spent this past weekend down in Del Mar, CA for a wedding & it was the perfect getaway. I’m going to be real with you guys for a minute. This year has not started off that great. Nothing terrible has happened but it almost feels like nothing is going our way. I’m not trying to complain to you guys but sometimes I just feel like I need to be honest with you all & explain why I’ve been a bit MIA this month. We’re in the process of getting things together to move & our car got towed while we were out of town for a week & just dumb little things have been getting me a bit frustrated with life. I honestly think they are all just trials for me to realize how great life truly is. I sometimes have to be reminded that life isn’t about the material things & sometimes things won’t go the way we want them to. But when it all comes down to it, my life is in God’s hands & I’m so thankful for the wonderful people I am blessed with. I go to sleep every night next to Kannon & Adam & I realize again & again how blessed I am & how happy I am just to have them in my life. Sometimes we just need little reminders to remind us that through all the stresses of this crazy life we are all living, we all have things to be thankful for. Enough of my rambling though! I love you guys for following along & I love the friendships I’ve been able to make through my blog. I hope you know I’m thankful for all of you as well & I hope you will stick around for awhile 🙂
