These little hair ties are the best! The only down side to them was how much they cost. A pack of 3 or 4 of these can cost anywhere from $6-$12. I didn’t want to spend that much on them though so I decided to make my own! They are the easiest things to make & sooo much cheaper. Here is a little step by step how to:
1.) Buy 5’8″ elastic (1 yard makes 4 hair ties). I got mine from Etsy
2.) Measure & cut a 9″ strip of elastic.
3.) Fold elastic in half.
4.) Tie the end in a knot.
Then you can repeat until all of your elastic is used & voila! You have your own DIY hair ties!
