From someone who once upon a time had incredibly unhealthy hair. Let me say that it’s not too late for you to have healthy hair! These 8 products for healthy hair, alongside an incredible hair colorist, have truly changed my hair health. Seriously, after years of bleach and heat damage, my hair used to feel like straw.. I will be forever thankful that I found my colorist, Kadi. She has been pivotal in changing the health of my hair and is basically family at this point since she’s been through basically every phase of my life over the past 18 years :). First things first, here are a few things to consider before we dive into the hair products I swear by.

#2 Check the Ingredients: When choosing hair products, always read the label and check for harmful ingredients that can damage your hair. Look for natural ingredients like coconut oil, argan oil, shea butter, and avocado oil that will provide nourishment to your hair.
#3 Consider the Product’s Purpose: Hair products are designed for different purposes, such as conditioning, strengthening, and styling. Determine what you want to achieve with your hair, and choose products that cater to your specific needs.
#4 Invest in Quality Products: Investing in high-quality hair products may cost more initially, but they will save you money in the long run by reducing the frequency of hair damage and the need for frequent replacements. The products below are all high quality products that I have used for years and can’t recommend enough.
8 Products for Healthy Hair
#1 Virtue Healing Hair Oil
This is hands down the best hair oil I have ever used and I have tried A LOT of hair oils. It is lightweight while still being incredibly hydrating. Plus, it also works as a heat protectant so it protects and heals all in one. It’s made for all hair types and is one hair product I can not live without.
#2 LivSo Moisturizing Shampoo
This shampoo is perfect for dry hair AND a dry scalp. I don’t think we talk about our scalps enough but a healthy scalp is the first place to start for healthy hair. After my hair colorist, Kadi, recommended this for my dry scalp, I have been hooked on it. I struggle during certain times of the year with a dry, itchy scalp and this completely remedies that dryness for me.
#3 Virtue Restorative Treatment Mask
I alternate between this mask and the mask below because they both work wonders. If you’re not using a hair mask weekly, I highly recommend incorporating one into your haircare routine NOW!
#4 Dae Monsoon Moisture Mask
As I said above, I alternate between these two masks and recommend them both. If you’re looking for a more intense hair treatment, use the healing oil above on dry hair, apply one of these hair masks over top, wrap your hair in a warm towel and leave for 20 minutes before washing out. This combo is a complete game changer!
#5 Virtue Smooth Conditioner
This is the first product I tried from Virtue and made me fall in love with the brand. Their hair products are unlike any other because they use Alpha Keratin 60ku® which is a healing protein that’s identical to the keratin that makes up 90% of our hair. It repaves and refills keratin, repairing damaged hair with each use. This conditioner is advertised for coarse/textured hair and makes my frizzy hair silky smooth.
#6 Bumble and Bumble Invisible Oil & Primer
This is a newer product to me but it has such raving reviews and I have already noticed a difference in my hair since using. I apply this to damp hair as well as before styling my hair with any heat. Please don’t forget to use heat protectants on your hair, they are a must for healthy hair.
#7 Virtue Flourish Density Booster
If you are struggling with dry/damaged hair, you have most likely experienced a bit of hair loss as well. This density booster has helped so much with healthy regrowth that I genuinely was shocked after a few months of using it. #8 Dae Stargloss Shine Treatment
Dae’s newest launch has already become a new favorite. This prewash glossing treatment gives shine, reduces frizz, smooths, and hydrates hair. I love to use this on hair wash days & leave it on until I’m ready to wash my hair. It leaves my hair looking SO healthy, I can’t get enough of it!
