While at NYFW I was able to go backstage for the Spring 2017 Tracy Reese presentation & it was a major pinch me moment. There is nothing more exciting than going backstage & seeing everything that goes into a show or presentation! I especially loved that Tracy Reese completely broke from tradition & featured musicians, artists & people from the creative community as well as professional models. By doing this, she added such an amazing and unusual element to the presentation!

I was lucky enough to attend with Mary Kay & the makeup they went with for both the “runway” & “real woman” looks were effortlessly stunning! Luis Casco, the Global Makeup Ambassador for Mary Kay, chose watercolor inspired floral tones to create a look that was whimsical & looked beautiful on any skin tone. I loved the soft pop of color on the eyes paired with the nude lip. (You guys know I’m always a sucker for a nude lip) The makeup looks paired perfectly with the beautiful collection Tracy Reese created & each look was just beautiful!

This was by far one of the best experiences I’ve had! I’m clearly fashion & beauty obsessed, so getting such an up close look (backstage & during the presentation) was a dream come true for me. Skin is prepped with Foundation Primer Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15*
Face:
CC Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15* is used to even complexion
Undereye Correctoris patted under eyes to neutralize dark circles, and Perfecting Concealer is used to cover blemishes
Mineral Powder Foundationis dusted over t-zone to minimize shine. Cheekbones are left untouched by powder to reveal a radiant, natural glow
Mineral Cheek Color in Shy Blushis applied to apples of cheeks, then faded up to temples
Eyes:
Cream Eye Color in Pale Blushis applied all over the lid with a dense synthetic brush, with Mineral Eye Color in Spun Silk and Honey Spice applied over top
Mineral Eye Color in Hazelnutis swept into crease and along bottom lash line
Lash Love® Lengthening Mascarais applied to lashes, with concentration at the base
Lips:
Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick in Always Apricotis pressed on to lips for a stained effect

Skin:
Skin is prepped with Foundation Primer Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15*
Face:
CC Cream Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 15* is applied with a flat brush then blended with a sponge all over skin
Undereye Correctoris patted over dark circles, and Perfecting Concealer is used to cover blemishes Mineral Cheek Color Duo in Ripe Watermelon is applied. The blush shade is swirled onto apples of cheeks with a small brush for color concentration, then faded up to temples. Highlight shade is dusted onto cheekbones
Eyes:
Cream Eye Colorin Pale Blush is applied with a dense synthetic brush. Mineral Eye Color in Precious Pink and Iris are concentrated in corners of eyes, then swept out toward the temples and applied along lower lash line for a subtle yet impactful pop of color
Lash Intensity® Mascarais applied to lashes, with concentration at the base
Lips:
Lip Liner in Light Nudeis applied under Gel Semi-Matte Lipstick in Bashful You – the perfect nude to suit all skin tones due to its taupe base
