My Deep Cleansing & Hair Treatment Routine

1024 790 Sheridan Gregory

Who knew hair washing could be such a hot topic. It seems as though washing your hair weekly has become the new norm which I’m all about! Who like spending hours a day washing and drying your hair? That being said, I do like to deep cleanse my hair so I can go longer in between washes and get rid of product buildup. So, if you’re wondering what my deep cleansing hair routine looks like, then here are all the deets…

Step 1: Virtue Purifying Shampoo – Virtue is by far my favorite haircare brand and this purifying shampoo removes residue, build-up and impurities without drying out your hair.

Step 2: Virtue Recovery Shampoo – Then I’ll go in with this shampoo which cleans, replenishes and nourishes.

Step 3: Virtue Smooth Conditioner – I’m obsessed with this conditioner. It hydrates, silkens and de-frizzes your hair. This is the first product I ever tried from Virtue and it made me fall in love with their products!

If I’m feeling like my hair is feeling dry or if I’ve been putting too much heat on my hair, then I’ll treat it with this genius combination to give it some added hydration. The Virtue Healing Oil and Treatment Mask are some of  my holy grails but woah they are incredible used together! My hair feels so hydrated after this routine:

Step 1: Apply Virtue Healing Oil on dry hair’

Step 2: Apply Virtue Treatment Mask over oil on dry hair

Step 3: Wrap your hair in a hot towel to lock in the mask and let sit for 30 minutes

Step 4: Rinse it out and enjoy how lovely your hair feels!

My Spring Makeup Faves

1024 851 Sheridan Gregory

I you like to update your makeup routine with each season, then you’ll love my spring makeup faves that I’m sharing today. Right now, I’m loving fun pops of color, fresh glowing skin and a bold brow. Trying out new beauty products is one of my favorite things to do, and there are some new finds that have made their way into my everyday routine. So, if you’re curious what makeup products I’m currently obsessed with for spring, then keep scrolling!

First off, I recently bought the Kosas brow pencil and tinted brow gel and no exaggeration, they work wonders! I use the shade Taupe in both but they come in a few other shades as well. I’m so obsessed I literally ordered backups just in case! The combo of the two works wonders – lasts all day and I love that the gel doesn’t feel too heavy or like actual glue on my brows (IYKYK)!

I also picked up some fun new eyeshadow, blush and lipstick shades to try out. In the spring, I love pink, coral and lavender hues – how pretty are the shades in this Patrick Ta eyeshadow palette? I also love that ‘lit from within’ glow, especially this time of year, so I want to try out this Iconic London liquid highlighter. I’ve heard amazing things about it! If you’re like me and love a cream blush, then you have to try the Rose Inc ones. The colors are so pretty for spring and they last all day!

While I love a matte lip, this Tarte juicy lip plump looks incredible! Is there anything better than a glossy lip this time of year? It comes in a bunch of different shades – I honestly want to try them all! I’m linking all my current faves down below for you, but I’d love to know what beauty products you’re loving lately – let me know what I should try next!

My Everyday Winter Makeup

1024 788 Sheridan Gregory

I recently shared my go-to holiday makeup look, but most days I keep things pretty simple. I like to swap out the products I use depending on the season, so I figured I’d share my everyday winter makeup routine. Since I use most of these products on the daily, they would make great gifts or stocking stuffers as well for all those beauty lovers in your life! What are some of your winter beauty favorites?

I don’t typically wear a full-coverage foundation on the daily, but I do like to apply a few of these bronzing drops to give my skin some color and glow – it looks beautiful under foundation or even on its own. For everyday wear, I prefer a tinted moisturizer like this one – I also love that it’s a clean beauty product. If I need a little extra coverage, then this has been my go-to concealer lately. To give my skin that ‘lit from within’ glow, I love this bronzer and highlighter duo – then I’ll apply this cream blush which is an absolute must for me! Have you tried cream blush? It’s a total game changer! Lastly, I’ll set everything with my favorite translucent loose setting powder.

I’m obsessed with the Laura Mercier Caviar Eyeshadow Sticks! They’re so easy to apply and are a one-and-done shadow – plus they come in the most beautiful shades and have a hint of shimmer! When it comes to lashes, I like to use this Lancome mascara – I love how this mascara applies – you can build it up and it doesn’t clump! I keep things pretty simple with my brows – this brow pencil and brow gel are a great duo (and you can get them both for under $6)! For lips, I usually just apply a gloss like this Tower 28 Beauty one – it’s full of antioxidants like raspberry seed oil and apricot kernel oil so I feel like it’s good for my lips! It gives the prettiest shine and is just $14 – you can’t beat that!

My Go-To Holiday Makeup Look

1024 622 Sheridan Gregory

‘Tis the season for a holiday glam makeup look, and I like to have a little fun with my makeup this time of year. I mean, who doesn’t love a little sparkle and a moody lip? So. whether you have a holiday party to attend this year or just want to freshen up your date night look, I’m sharing some of my go-to products for a festive and fun makeup look.

Before going in with foundation, I like to apply a few of these bronzing drops to give my skin some color and glow – it looks beautiful under foundation or even on its own. For a night out or when I want full coverage, my favorite foundation is the IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream. It gives you a flawless complexion and stays put all day and night, especially after setting it with the this Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder. I also like using this concealer under the eye area or anywhere I need a bit more coverage. For bronzer and highlight, this duo stick is creamy and super easy to apply. I absolutely love the finish and it gives you that ‘lit from within’ dewy look! I’m also a huge fan of this blush palette because both colors are stunning and perfect for all seasons.

When it comes to the eyes, I like to do something a bit more bold than my everyday look. I love a warm eyeshadow look, and this eyeshadow palette has the best warm tones – plus, it’s only $3 so it’s super affordable! After blending out my eyeshadow, I like to top it with this Laura Mercier Caviar Stick for more shimmer. I love that it’s a stick eyeshadow so you get the glimmer without all the fallout! Then, for the lashes I like to use this Lancome mascara – I love this mascara because you can achieve dramatic lashes without them clumping which is a win, win! I keep things pretty simple with my brows – this brow pencil and brow gel are a great duo (and you can get them both for under $6)! Lastly, for the lips I’ve been loving this Nudestix lip pencil in the shade Mystic which is a light brown with pink undertone – my definite go-to shade for the fall and winter months. I topped it with the Tower 28 Lip Jelly in the shade Cashew to tie the whole look together.

You could easily wear this makeup look to a holiday party, dinner or evening event – I’d love to know what plans you have this holiday season!

My Favorite Self-Tanning Products

1024 766 Sheridan Gregory

No matter the season, it’s always nice to feel like you’ve just gotten back from a tropical vacation… who doesn’t want that nice golden tan? That’s why I love using self-tanner. Not only is it WAY better for your skin, but it also does the trick in giving me that ‘I just got back from an island getaway’ bronze that we’re all striving for. I always feel more confident when my skin has a bit of color to it, but to be honest, not all self-tanners are made the same. So, if you’re like me and struggle to find a self-tanner that either doesn’t smell horrible or leave you looking like an Oompa Loompa, then here are my favorite self-tanning products…

St. Tropez x Ashley Graham Glow Mouse

If you haven’t heard about the St. Tropez x Ashley Graham collab, then I’m here to tell you that it totally lives up to the hype! It doesn’t have that weird fake tan smell, and it is the perfect golden shade that gives you a glow! I love that you can actually see where you’re applying it so it doesn’t get streaky, and develops into a natural, long-lasting tan.

St. Tropez Bronzing Face Mist

I like to tan my face so that it matches the rest of my body, and this bronzing face mist is so easy to use and does the trick! I just spray it on my face before bed and wake up with the most natural-looking golden tan. It also doesn’t have a weird smell or cause any irritation to my skin. I feel like whenever I use this product I don’t have to wear as much makeup, and is great for those no-makeup days!

Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops

Another one of my favorite self-tanning products are the Isle of Paradise tanning drops. You just mix them with your moisturizer and apply as you normally would. What I like about these drops is that they can be used on your face and body, and you can customize the shade by applying more or fewer drops. If you want something a little less maintenance, then I’d suggest these drops since they can just be added to your everyday routine. I tend to use them when I’m in a hurry or during the winter months when I want more of a subtle tan.

What are your favorite self-fanning products?

The 5 Beauty Products I Use Every Day

683 1024 Sheridan Gregory

I love all things beauty, which is why I’m excited for this post! While I love testing out new products and enjoy trying new hair and makeup looks, there are a few items I love and use every day. I like using clean beauty products whenever I can, so I’m always excited when I find a product that is both natural and effective. So, I’m sharing the five beauty products that I absolutely can’t live without – the ones that are a part of my routine each day…

Virtue Healing Oil
This healing oil is a life saver for dry or dead ends. It leaves my hair feeling so much more healthy and gives it a nice shine. It has Alpha Keratin which repairs damaged hair by making it stronger and silkier.

Tower 28 SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray
This facial spray is one of my favorite skincare products for blemishes which I talk about in this post. It has just three simple, yet effective ingredients that target acne: hypochlorous acid, purified water, and salt. Hypochlorous acid is an antimicrobial agent that increases blood flow and reduces inflammation. It soothes, purifies, and renews the skin while reducing redness. I spray it on my face twice a day after cleansing but before moisturizing. I also feel good about using this product because it’s clean and 100% natural.

Edible Beauty No. 3 Exotic Goddess Serum
I absolutely love this age-reversing serum because of its incredible ingredients. Supercharged with antioxidants like vitamin C, natural SPF and hyaluronic acid, this serum enhances firmness, supports collagen production, evens skin tone and shields against free radicals. What’s not to love?

Edible Beauty & Snowflower Illuminating Face Oil
If you want more youthful-looking skin, then this serum does just that! Packed with botanicals like snowflower seed, this serum helps brighten dark spots, soothe redness, enhance luminosity and support natural cell turnover.

Saie Slip Tint
This tinted moisturizer has become my newest obsession! I love being able to see my natural skin when it comes to foundation, which is why I love this product so much. It has more of a sheer but dewy coverage that blends beautifully into the skin. I also love that this is a clean tinted SPF moisturizer with ingredients that are good for your skin. So, it’s like makeup and skincare in one!

The 3 Best Skincare Products for Blemishes

1024 683 Sheridan Gregory

Blemishes are no fun, and if you’ve ever dealt with breakouts then you know the struggle is real! There’s nothing like waking up to a bright red blemish to ruin your day, am I right? Between stress, makeup, pollution, and toxins, it’s no wonder so many of us find ourselves battling breakouts. I’ve tried numerous remedies and products to help with acne, and after years of trial and error, I’ve finally found the skincare products that actually work! So, if you want to know what products I use to keep blemishes at bay, then here my three favorite skincare products:

Edible Beauty Purifying Mousse – Pink Clay Sleep Mask

I absolutely love this sleep mask because it works to purify and brighten my skin. I swear, every time I use it I wake up the next morning with a glowy, more radiant complexion. Plus, the Australian pink clay works to detoxify the skin by removing congestion, while the avocado oil hydrates and balances oil production. I use this sleep mask to help keep my skin clear overnight. Oh, and Edible Beauty is a clean beauty brand, so what’s not to love?

Edible Beauty Turmeric Beauty Latte Serum Clear & Bright

This serum is another clean beauty product that I’ve been loving for breakouts! It helps diminish the look of blemishes and pigmentation with turmeric root, licorice root, and rumex extract. Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant that helps decongest pores and remove excess sebum, while licorice root and rumex extract works to brighten the skin and treat hyperpigmentation. So, this serum is an absolute game changer when it comes to treating acne!

Tower 28 Beauty SOS Daily Rescue Facial Spray

Lastly, this facial spray has just three simple, yet effective ingredients that target acne: hypochlorous acid, purified water, and salt.
